Managed VPS
A VPS with resources of your own, and the technical management on us
You get the server’s resources; we handle the security updates, the monitoring, the backup configuration and the routine administration within your service scope. You run your project, not the machine.

What you buy alongside the machine
In the price
-
Security updates
Tracking system and security package updates, and applying them.
-
Server monitoring
Watching the server’s state and raising an alert when something goes wrong.
-
Backup setup and configuration
Configuring the backup mechanism technically. The storage capacity itself is charged separately.
-
Routine technical management

- cPanel licence
- Plesk licence
- Paid operating-system licences where applicable

- Extra snapshots or storage resources
- Any additional hardware or infrastructure resources
- Any other paid third-party licence
cPanel, Plesk and paid backup resources are available at an additional cost.
When a VPS fits
What a virtual server handles well
-
Web applications and APIs
An app or API that needs steady resources and a setup of its own.
-
An active online store
A store that has outgrown shared hosting on memory or processing.
-
Development and staging
A production-shaped copy where changes are tested before release.
-
Several sites on one server
A company’s sites and projects under one setup, sharing its resources.
Scaling
When your project needs more
-
You tell us what changed
More traffic, a new application, or noticeable slowness.
-
We look at the actual measurements
We use the monitoring data to find which resource is the bottleneck.
-
We agree the new configuration and its cost
Before anything is done, and inside a time window we agree.
An upgrade needs planning and an execution window. We do not promise instant, zero-interruption scaling in every case.
About backups, specifically
- Configuring and setting up the backup is part of the managed service.
- The storage capacity, or the backup resource itself, is charged separately.
- We do not provide unlimited or automatically included backup storage.
- We do not commit to a recovery point or a retention period unless it has been explicitly configured and purchased.
FAQ
Questions before ordering a VPS
What is the difference between managed and unmanaged VPS?
With an unmanaged server you get the resources and the system administration is yours. With our managed service we handle security updates, monitoring, backup configuration and routine technical administration, within the agreed scope of service.
Is a cPanel licence included in the price?
No. cPanel and Plesk licences, and paid operating-system licences, are charged on top of the base price. We set out the cost before the order is confirmed.
Are backups free and unlimited?
Configuring the backup is part of the managed service; the storage capacity or the backup resource itself is charged separately. We do not offer unlimited capacity, and we do not commit to a retention period unless it has been configured and purchased.
Does Windows Server cost the same as Linux?
No. The Windows Server licence is an additional cost on top of the base price, and it appears in your final quotation.
